I recently upgraded to V11 from V10 and now when i goto end sale i get the following error.

"Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal. Class:Transact/Rst Set"

Has anyone else had this problem? if so how did you fix it.

Something is inconsistent about the Database Structure ... there is a CompareDB utility on the CD ... run the install for THAT utility from the CD ... it will copy the utility and Blank Databases (Make Sure you are doing it from the CD related to your current installed version ... or get same from Helios Tech Support)

Back up your data

Run the utility with all databases highlighted and a tick in Compare Destination against Master ... Press Compare

Helios Tech Support can help you with this if further assistance is required

Thanks for the quick reply. When i run the utility will it correct the inconsistency in the structure?

It has every time for me ... encounter this in earlier conversions, have not encounter it for a while now .... suggest you discuss with Tech Support if you require more direction

Last quick question, will it mess up my db at all before i get a chance to fix it? (I probably wont get to fix it till atleat tomorrow night) so it will have 2 days of transactions and thoses end sale errors.

This happened to me and we had about 4 hours of running with those errors, after it was fixed those transactions were all MIA. Try to do a detailed daily report and see if any of those transations show up, for me they did not. My suggestion is to get it fixed ASAP and also maybe write down your transactions on paper until you get it fixed.
