You can use Mozilla it is a free browser and has a built in pop up blocker and works very well. http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

Do a google search for Spybot.

Download it for free. It will get rid of spy software & other pop-ups or bs that may be hiding on your computer.

Works great!

use google bar, it has a built in ad blocker plus you have a google search box at all times, and its free.
