Finger Prints

I know that Helios 11 has the option for finger print identification.

What I want to know is if there are other software packages that will do the same for our Tanning Salon?

It sounds like a good idea BUT I've been hearing reports about storing people's prints. Hollywood Tans uses this and I think they are being looked into.

it's actually a average of directional patterns called minutiae points these points can not be used to identify a person other than to your computer and there is no way you can get it off of your computer to give to anybody.
It does not check them in it will just verify that it is them before you can tan, so no it does not make it faster to check in and does have som problems like not reading the imprint with file clerks, hair dresser, ect because of chemicals ect. so sometimes a pain but I guess the one thing is they can't say they were not here.
