We are not using EFT but I was curious if there is still a way you can freeze a membership so that no tanning can code can be used?

dont understand the question.....Cant you just stop charging them, and resume whenever you want to? Do you charge the EFT's yourself, or does a company do it for you?

We are not on the eft system. Can you put a block on the account so that a tanning code cannot be put in

I am wondering this also. We use the EFT in Helios and I want to create a freeze code to allow them to freeze up to 2 months with a service charge then after the time frame it will automatically start charging them again. I would never remember who woould be freezeing or not so I need Helios to do this for us. Any ideas?

You can freeze a Membership, but when they purchase that option, they should have been made aware that they are getting that price because that's the deal! Only freeze it if there are extreme circumstances..................

With EFT Memberships you can truly FREEZE the membership ... BLOCKING them from using the membership until it is UNFROZEN.

With an Instore membership you can sort of Freeze them ... but it really just stops counting down the days to expiry. Any additional transactions on this type of "Freeze" (ie a tanning transaction) will restart the count down of the membership. I find this actually works just fine, since the client has obviously returned early and wishes to resume using the membership.

A sales code similar to the purchase ... maybe with a fee or not (for the freeze service) ... the Membership Name in both Bought and Used on Pkg/Mbr ... -1 in Days Variable

AND

Flex start YES ... and the number of days you are "freezing" MUST have a value ... 7 or 14 or whatever

So you could over a 14 day freeze for clients going away on two week vacation. When they return and tan if automatically resume the countdown of days ... no need to Unfreeze.

Need more help ... give me a call ... would be pleased to be of service.

HI Nicole

We use sunease software, we tell our clients that we can freeze their pkg up to 10 days and then the computer kicks it off, otherwise people would save pkgs for the next season. They don't know that we have to go in and undo the freeze. Using EFT, you just put them in as not oweing for that month.
