With the client you wish to add to the Wait list on the Client Info screen ... go to F4 Status

Select Wait List

Add ... and select the desired bed type

there it is on the Wait list ... in order added and will show length of time thereon

to select a client from the wait list again F4 Status and go to the Wait list

Select ... enter # on the list ... client will display on the Client Info display and be removed from the Wait List

Let me know if you really find it a useful feature along with the appt. book, in a busy salon (I assume you have a busy salon of course)?

I doubt it John ... but I am a believer in allowing an individual to draw their own conclusion.

Works well if the salon if not busy, but then I guess you really would not need it.

This has been a topic of conversation between Tony and I ... if we can get the system to accept and process a "pending" tanning transaction to a bed or bed type then we will have a wait list would utilizing.

I agree with you Andy, we have had this discussion in one form or another previously. Just curious to hear the opinion of someone with some practical experience in salon that is always on the go.
P.S. Welcome back???

Ok now I see...it isnt doing what I want it to do...I wanted to line the client up for the next available bed...
Is there a program out there that will do that?
IF not ANDY you should make that your next project.
Thanks

TE, I know you are all talking about Helios but in SunTouch when we put someone on wait list all we do is click on a bed and a screen pops up to ask if you want to tan them or put on waiting list. They are set for a specific bed in the order they came into the salon. When it is time to put them in the bed, you click on their name from the waiting list which is visible on main screen that we work from. It asks what bed...so even though you have pre-selected a bed you still have the option to change bed selection at tanning time. We use this all the time in busy season since it gives time in and keeps clients in order....so to speak

Pam

We do use the wait list with Helios. We do not take appointments so therefore we do not have the appointment book to deal with.

Has Helios come up with a solution like Pam describes with her Sun Touch software. I would love to be able to que tanners to the next bed available or to a specific bed on request. Right now it is a guess who's next up or rely on a sign in sheet. Help us Andy...
