Is there a way to track discounts other than the transaction screen? I am trying to track that $770 in discounts over the past two months. I fear my employee's are being very generous as I have had a mere two or three 10% of coupons come in. Is there a way to track discounts with Helios 10.

1. Daily Sales Detail report (Full Details) ... should be reviewed daily

2. Exception Report in Management ... for Discounts.

3. Have also requested a Discount Report ... that just list transactions with Discounts ... similar to 2 above but with different info.

Helios aside, why do you allow your employees to give discounts? Discounts should be approved/pre-approved by management.

Kissed by the sun ... what John is referring to is the following to reduce or eliminate discounts.

1. Set up Employee Membership on clients that are Employees.

2. Assuming much of your discounts are to "Members" monthly/eft/employees ... use the Membership Pricing function in Helios Sales codes to provide the authorized reduced price without having to discount.

3. If you have an item on sale ... change the price within Sales Code rather than Discounting it.

The above should GREATLY reduce the number and amount of discounts ... if not totally eliminate it ... thus one less control point to review daily/weekly.

Hope this helps ...
