How do you backup Helios 10? - Page 2

I guess I have to keep doing it tp a cd for now!

I do back up disks and an external back up on my main server. So it's double backed up. I learned from when the first back up did not catch everything at the wrong time.

I'm having trouble knowing if I'm backed up properly. I try to pen on another computer but I can't open the client list rpt. because it doesn't recognize the format and it sayws I don't have a dongle.

Copy the Data Folder to the Flash Drive.

Have the same version of Helios on another computer ... copy the Data Folder from the Flash Drive to the Helios10 folder on that other computer and you should be able to open it.

If you are getting report errors you may have to reinstall Helios and make sure you are using the same version at both locations.

Do not need a dongle on the other computer but you will not be able to add clients or process any Point of Sale transactions (should not be a problem)
