I have a T-Max manager that has been set up for about 3 months, and then the other day after a storm i think it was, the bed and the t-max stopped commucating with each other. I have replaced the communications chip in the manager, yet the bed is still not seen on the system. The bed is a StarPower Speed System, model 52 with the timer integrated into the bed itself. Help! I have no idea what else to check, i've tried from what i know most of the tricks with the manager to see the bed, but no luck.

The bed appears to be a 99, it was bought new in January of 2000.

That is an older timer not designed & built by T-Max.
You will need to directly contact ETS for assistance with this timer.
The problem is likely within the timer.

Ok, i have had ets replace the timer, they are great, no charge, next day shipping exchange on the timer that was in there now. Now at least the bed gets somewhat of a signal from the tmax manager. My question is, can i use a normal phone card to test to see if the tmax manager is working, cause we think it might be the 300 ft of wire that we have might be bad, but I don't have a shorter cable to test it out. Cause this is what is happening....

If i try to auto-assign the stand up, and the bed, the standup beeps and shows 99, but then when I press the green button on the standup, it shows and blinks 88. I'm not sure what the problem is and this is freaking me out.

Thanks for the help

Our cables are different than the standard phone cable.
Phone cables use RJ-11 connectors & flip the wires between the ends.

Our cables use RJ-22 connectors and are wired straight through.

As a test, unplug one end of the cable between the beds. Attach the Manager to the open cable. Now try addressing the bed. This will help you track down the wiring problem.
