I am setting up my tanning center now, but some of the products I ordered do not have a UPC or Style Numbers on them, so I thought I would develope my own Style Number and UPC labels. Does anyone know any good programs for doing this.

Also before I get started does Helios support UPC scanner, if it doesnt what are my other options?

Helios does support them and you can print bar code labels with Helios. You can use any number or letter combination, Helios will print a label converted to bars. You will need a label printer though.

You can test to see if your inkjet printer will product labels that are readable.

Here is a link to one of the best sources of POS equipment that I have found. http://www.posworld.com/index.html

Also just to clarify ... there is nothing special in Helios related to supporting UPC codes ... that is a function of the scanner ... the scanner is connected to the system, normally as an extension of the keyboard ... the scanner simply replaces key stokes, just the same as if you keyed the UPC codes ... just a LOT easier and more accurately.
