Hi Andy
What do I need to do to activate the member check-in feature in Helios? We use Helios to track our fitness members and at present they sign in on a log. I would like that they could use their ID card with the bar codes to swipe a scanner to check-in. Is this possible? Would Helios generate a report for the times they vist the gym? Would a member whose membership expired pop on the screen? Thanks Stu

Hi Stu ... the member check-in feature really has not been improved since you installed Helios three years ago. In March of 2002 I went to Indy and reviewed what was need in a Fitness club environment with Tony and members of his staff but little has come of that visit.

In Version 10 they have added the Client ID# ... this allows for an User assigned ID (up to 20 A/N characters) to be assigned ... ideal for using a KeyFob or DL# as the ID Card.

There is no report of visits ... this would be so simple for them to add.

Wish I had more good news ...
