Rep Power: 25 | Rebecca asked you to try running the system with out the software (running nthe T-Max Manually) to see if the problem persists. Did you try that? Kevin Barrett ADI Tech Support _________________ [ This Message was edited by: Kevin Barrett on 2003-06-11 08:43 ] |

Rep Power: 24 | kevin Have not had time yet to try that and because it is only 20% of time it could take some time for the bed to act up,I was just checking if anyone else has had this problem with the beds or software or timers I have your timers in my other salon and they work great and these are probably ok to, but it is a weird problem. |

Rep Power: 22 | It's almost impossible that it is the software, and nearly as improbable that it would be the manager. I know of a salon with Sun Ergoline beds that has a problem with some beds coming of by themselves for a couple of seconds. I suspect that it is the beds. Although, if the relay on the 3A were to get a false signal to close, then that would cause this problem also. When were the 3A's purchased? |

Rep Power: 0 | I had the same problem with the beds shutting off at the beginning of a session. It was always my VHR standup that shut off between 1 and 3 minutes after someone was in there. It would only happen like once a week and for no reason at all. It happened about 5 or 6 times in 4 weeks. I have disconnected the computer to the timers and it hasn't happened in about a week. I have been setting the timers manually. I am hoping this fixed the problem. It's embarassing when someone is in there tanning and this happens! |

Rep Power: 0 | if your communication wires are running close too power lines or flourescent light it can send the wrong signals too the 3a which will create all types of issues also a conflicting address can create the same type of problem i would disconect the computer and run the beds directly from the tmax manager if this still happens then disconect the tmax manager and put the 3a's into bypass mode if the problem stops you know its either the tmax manager or more likely the commincation wire from room too room is picking up harmonic distortion from electrical wires or light fixtures you'd need too rerun the wires too get them away from these things be sure and check that all 3a's are addressed correctly do this by turning power of each 3a when the power is reapplied it will lite up with several numbers on the display the second or third number will be the room number sometimes readdressing the rooms will remove the glich i work 20 salons all of which use this system and i've seen all kinds of strange things happen. but all in all tmax is a fine unit too use much luck dave |

Rep Power: 21 | I have also had problems like this, accept the unit didnt turn on after a session. Sometimes when the person hits start the whole booth shuts down, then I go out back, flip the breaker on and off, and reset the t-max, and its fine.?.? It must be some sort of electrical malfunction. |
