Am I crazy or is there no way to delete an individual client's history without doing it line by line. I know that you can delete daily trans files, but I don't want to delete any of my current clients histories. I called Helios and they were no help whatsoever.
Also, I tried to delete one clients files by going into their history and deleting each file separately. When I deleted a file for bed 3 the bed turned off on another client that was in there! I did one more file for bed 6 and it also shut off! Have you ever heard of this? Helios said it must have just been a coincidence, but that has never happened before. Any info would be great! |

Line by line is the way ... now is that not FUN.
Helios is NOT a true relational database. If it was when you delete a client the related transactions would be removed or flag for purging at a later date when the sales records were no longer needed in your active file. Interesting on the Delete affecting (turning off) your Timer and thereby Bed ... new issue. I believe you are referring to the F8-History Delete functions. Try do the delete of a Customers records from the View ... System File ... Transactions ... Select the desired Client Number and double click on a transactions (with tanning time) and F6 Delete ... see if it impacts the timer from here ... different function may not. I do not have a timer connected to my test system so can not try it. Chuckle Chuckle ... the old "Never Heard Of That Respond" .... they do train them well on that one. |
