I am having problems with helios booting up.
It is giving me an error that says something like this" unreckonizable C:\program.."something" data\helio.mdb
I can't remember the entire path but I got the same error at two different locations.
One store after shutting the system down came up. The second store is still down. we restarted and shut down the system several times and no success.
What do I do????
Thanks
Tommy

You have a corrupt helios.mdb database. You can use Salon Net Wizard to correct that problem. Contact Andy Thompson about that.

Did you try call Helios? Just curious if they said it was a Microsoft problem.

Tommy, Michael is correct ... corrupt Helios.mdb

Assuming you have Helios Tech Support, you can contact them, most likely they will tell you to restore from backup. They may also have you attempt a "Repair" within Helios Utilities .... be sure to make an extra backup (NOT on top of your most recent backup) ... do this extra backup on separate media.

If that is not an acceptable approach or it does not work, we do have additional utilities with Salon Net Wizard that will VERY often correct problems with Helios Databases.

If you wish to discuss further leave me a message on my Voice Mail, I am onsite with a client but will check for messages a couple of times during today because of this situation.
