Helios - Report Wish List

What report do you wish you could have in Helios. Your database with historical transactions contains a wealth of information?

Here are a number of common requests that I hear from Helios Users (that we have/are adding into Salon Net Wizard - Reporting Suite), your comments and suggestions are welcome:

1. We know Customer Sales by Employee Averages (PPA) ... it is partially available in V10, once V10 gets to see the light of day.

2. Equipment Status report, it is a major PAIN to have to go thru Equipment Status bed by bed looking at the Hours Used and Left on Lamps etc. How about a report/display of that data for ALL BEDS on one sheet of paper, that would be perfect for doing your maintenance review. It is painful to think of the 40 bed salon going screen by screen ... room by room.

3. Detail Sales by Customer of Sales Code. What did/does this customer buy? Who bought this sales code/product?

4. Customer Sales Summary (sorted by desired ranking). One line per client, Package Purchases, Membership Purchases, Product Purchases, Average Purchases per visit, First Visit, Last Visit, etc etc.

5. Tanning Visits by Type, showing ratio of Tans between Memberships, Packages and Single Sessions.

What other reports would help you manage your business and plan your marketing approach to next season?

I wish......
The number of tanning sessions on the monthly compare report. Unless I'm missing something there is no way to see how many tanning sessions you had during a specified period vs the same period for prior years.

Teresa, you are missing nothing ...

The only place were "# of Tanning Sessions" is reported in Helios is one number on the Shift Report and/or the Daily Sales Report.

In Salon Net (Network Replication System that works on top of Helios) and Salon Net Wizard (Salon Net Reporting Module for Operators not needing replication of data), we have the Tanners by Month report (Examples of the reports for 2002 and 2001, numbers are from a 5 location chain).

Teresa, I like your idea of actually presenting this as one Graph/Report doing the comparison. John, can we make it so.

I believe it is in "sales by day of month" that also lists # of sessions for every day and an average for the month but it doesn't compare it to anything so you have to run two reports and compare them with a calculator.

Has anyone ever wanted to know about the birthday card report. I am not sure if I know how to use it but I would like to see all people with a certain type of membership (Yearly members) that have a birthday of whatever date I choose. This way I can send cards etc.

Nicole in Marketing Labels you can currently do labels for all clients with a Birthday in a selected month.

At this time in Helios you are not able to further limit your selection criteria related to only client that have a given active Membership.

This is possible with the Reporting Module available in Salon Net and Salon Net Wizard.
