Rep Power: 23 | This is just to let all salon owners know that you should stop wasting your time and pick up the phone and call Andy. I posted a couple of weeks ago that I was having trouble with a current membership program we were running and I needed help ASAP! Not only did Andy take the time out of his busy schedule, he replied with a very lengthy post to explain how I should set Helios to manage my problem. He spent 5 hours with me over the phone in the last week walking me through steps to answer all questions that I have been having trouble with in the last 9 years with Helios. He took time on a very late Saturday evening to help me. Poor guy he is 3 hours ahead of me and I couldn't call him until 4:00 pm my time. I had deautomated Helios so badly that I had created more work than I had wanted. He helped me revamp sales codes, combine codes, and best of all helped me with EFT set-up. As all of you know Helios can be a little confusing and before you know it I had a long list of questions that had been bugging me for some time. I do pay for Helios technical support but Andy understands everyday problems that arise with Helios and knows how to fix the problem for you along with providing excellent customer service. I am here to let you all know that if you have any questions large or small, call him. I learned more in the first 3 hours of taking to Andy than the last 9 years of owning the Helios program. Thank you again Andy for your time and patients and relieving the throbbing headache I had created! |

Rep Power: 23 | Ditto Nicole. Andy has really been there to help me with any questions I have. I too pay for helios support but most of the time it takes forever to get a response. Then they don`t know the answer or say I have never heard of that. Geeeeeeeeeeeze. Andy when will you be put on their payroll?? |

Rep Power: 22 | I just cancelled my support with Helios of many years. It was useless. Maybe if others would do the same it would make them realize how they are ripping off the folks that made them who they are. Right....... |

Last fall Tony advised Helios Users that Helios would discontinue Tech Support on V9 of Helios effective June 2003. Given the current state of V10 and the limited number of V9 Users that have converted to V10, I personally find it hard to believe they will actually do it, but I would not put it pass them. Regardless, for the MANY Helios Users that are dissatisfied with the Tech Support and Customer Service they receive from Helios ... an alternative will shortly be OFFICIALLY available.
