Helios Users did you know that today does not count on Membership Days?

In the last couple of weeks I have helped a couple of long time Helios Users review their Sales Code structure and they were not aware of this.

If you sell a 30 day membership, the expiry date will be 30 days AFTER today. Now this is not so bad if in fact you are calling it a "Monthly" Membership because it covers a 31 days month, BUT if you are in fact selling a 30 day Membership BE AWARE with 30 set in the Days Valid field, you are giving 31 days including today.

If you are selling a 14 day membership or a 7 day membership you may want to enter 13 and/or 6 in the Membership Variable - Days Valid field on the Pkg/Mem Tab for the applicable Sales Code.

One client had been selling a "Week" Membership for sometime (with 7 in the Days valid field) not realizing that they were in fact giving 8 days of tanning to the client - today PLUS 7.

Hope this helps ...

Yes I know that Helios give a bonus day. This does not stop customers from tramping that their program has expired.

The value of that extra "bonus" day ....

Instore Membership of say $ 30. per month ... $1.00 per day.

Using 12 monthly memberships in a year ...

With 100 members ... $1,200 per year
With 200 members ... $2,400 per year
With 500 members ... $6,000 per year
