Hi Andy,

I recieved the folowing email from one of my managers. Have you ever heard of this? I believe this studio is running of 9.1??

i clocked in at 6:45am and today when i went to wait on my first costomer it told me i couldn't make a sale unless i clocked in so i reclocked in at 7:03am. i don't know why it wouldn't have excepted it the first time i did it. i mean i did it right and i know that i hit enter otherwise it wouldn't have gone off the timeclock screen.
thanks

Andy, if you have any ideas I would love to hear them, thank you

Danno

Danno, I am not aware of any problem related to the situation you described that would cause an employee that is already clocked in to be able to clock in again. If the employee was in fact clocked in, and tried to clock in again the only option they would be provided with, would be to clock out after they selected there ID.

If the employee selected their ID on the Time Clock screen and push the Cancel button rather than the Clock In button the Time Clock screen would close in either case.

You could look in the Time Clock to see if there is a record associated with the 6:45 timeframe, but I doubt it if the employee was able to clock in again ( without clocking out) at 7:03.

Hope this helps

I think I have seen and heard every single computer glitch so they couldn't clock in on time, or so they say. Are you sure this is not just an excuse for a late employee?
