Rep Power: 23 | Helios is giving me this warning when I go to set the timer for brand new packages sometimes, and I do not know how to fix it! It is no specific package nor any particular name. I can have different people buy the same package and this warning will show up out of the blue, at random. This is really annoying...HELP! |

Rep Power: 0 | "Time quantity too high" means that the code that you are using to send time to a bed is either not linked to the particular pkg code (amount of minutes/points/days, etc,) or there is not enough points/credits/minutes (whichever) to support the session. For example... Say you are using the code "T4" to start a unit that requires 4 credits per session. If someone has only 3 credits and you enter "T4", the time quantity is too high because they only have 3 credits remaining. Kind of complicated to explain, but easy to understand when explained in simpler terms. Do you understand what I mean? -Tommie- |

Rep Power: 25 | OK, lets take this a step a time, because if it is truly random - that is very strange. As Tommie stated, this message "Time Quantity Too High" normally means that the current client does not have enough "Credit" (be it minutes, sessions, or points) in the related Accumulator to meet the requirements of the code that you are processing to Tan the client. That is very straight forward, so I doubt that that is the source of the problem, because you would see that and sell another package of whatever. The second most common situation that causes this message is that in the Sales Code set up on the Pkg/Memb Tab there is an additional indicator (error) set to "Amount Subtract". So when you use this code it also attempts to take a value out of a second accumulator. If that second accumulator is actually being used for a different purpose, and some clients have purchased a package related to it and others have not - then it could appear "random" that "Time Quantity is Too High". NOTE: in this last example, you may have been deducting inappropriately from a clients when it did work - something to check. In the next situation, you would also check the Intelligence Tab as well as the Pkg/Memb Tab for all beds on the Sales Code that is giving you the problem. If it is just one (or certain) bed(s) that is giving you the problem - start here. Check to see if by chance one (or more) bed(s) have the Multiple option selected under Allow Use?, on the Intelligence tab, with a higher than normal number in the Amount column. So, check this and let me know if you find the cause of the problem. If you wish I can email you a utility that will export your sales codes (only) to a small file and you can email them to me and I can take a look. Hope this helps |

Rep Power: 23 | I will be at store #2 today, so TANGIRL PLEASE PRINT THIS! Thanks Andy, don't know if I understand everything you're saying, but at least we know where to start poking around. To illustrate the randomness of this: Boyfriend comes in and buys 3 months each for himself and his girlfriend. I can set the timer for her, but not for him. Same package, same day, different names. (But it's not always 3 month pkg this occurs with) Thanks all for help & comments, will let you know what we find. |

Rep Power: 25 | Tamar, if you are talking about Memberships - that sheds a little more light. You should not (normally) be using any values in the Accumulators in the set up of a Sales code to Tan on a 3 month "membership". So that would be the first thing to check. The "Time Quantity Too High" message related to the system trying to subtract from an accumulator and not enough value in the accumulator to allow the subtraction. If you are using the same Sales Code to tan both the Boyfriend and Girlfriend in your example above, is there any difference in the values in the accumulators on the client profiles for the two clients. The answer really has to be on the Pkg/Memb Tab or the Intelligence Tab. Happy hunting |
