There sure is Gene.
There is a document in the ACT Help Center on my Website that describes setting it up. ACT Help Center - Giving an extension on Expired Package. One limitation with the approach though, there is not way to have the number of days or months you extend variable, you have to set up a code for the number of days to wish to "overwrite" the expiry date with. Hope it helps. |

Andy
After experimenting a bit, I found that I could extend an EXPIRED package a set number of days (as defined in the setup for the code). I also discovered that by doubling the number of days in the setup code (double the amount you really want) that this works if sold along with the orignal package. But there is no way you can add-on a set amount of days on an existing active package's expiration date. It simply adds on the days from the day you sell the extension. (Example: You sell a 30 day plan and 20 days later the customer decides she needs to extend the expiration date 30 days. If you put it in that day, it really only extends for another 15 days becasue Helios always extends the days calulated FROM THE DAY YOU RING IT UP. It just depends on what day the extension is rung up. This wasn't how I envisioned doing this but I can adapt. |

Yes Gene, I understand what you really wanted, but as I said above - the extension "overwrites" the current expiry date rather than "adding on to it"
Close but no cigar, I have not been able to determine a way (outside of Master Edit) to have the action exactly as you requested it. A consideration for the future perhaps. All the best |
