I'll have to try this when I get in the salon.
My similar experience dating back several major versions is that Helios would sometimes mess up a split that involved cash and something else. If you put in a cash amount greater than what's owed (ie, change due, Helios would misallocate the split and deduct the amount owed from the total revenue on the shift report. You think you're off but you're not. Unlike your problem, it was just fine in the customer's account. I became so distrustful that I got into the habit of putting in the exact amount of cash in a split payment and calculated change mentally. This may or may not be fixed. It's hard to tell because of the intermittant nature of it. I don't know if your problem was caused by putting in an amount larger than what is really owed but it's an avenue to look into. |
