I just installed a T max manger in my salon today. Every thing went well with 3 of my 4 beds, ETS. the second on in the chain from the tmax fails to start after delay time. I called ETS the bed manufacture and they said that it was the wire between the beds. (I am not getting an error and the bed that won't work will show count down time then stop. I didn't get the wire from them so they said call who I got the wire from. I bought the T max from 4 seasons, I call their service department and after we discussed the problem, 4 seasons said it was a bed problem.
One is blaming the other, What the **** am I'm suppose do do! I got a problem and each supplier is blaming the other. Hope you can help. I really believe the problem is in the bed, since the ones further away are working without any errors or problem. If you can help please email or call me. I am using a computer, however I set it up stand alone first to make sure it would work first. All the beds worked except bed 2, I then hooked it up to the computer and all the beds worked except bed 2. I went back and made it stand alone again, reset the tmax, reset the beds by turning off the power to them and all worked but bed 2. I checked the addresses and all the addresses appeared to be right. bed 1 = 1 bed, bed 2 =2 and so on. I think the problem is in the timer in the bed. I worked in electronics for about 20 years,(not a wizard) and have had lots of trouble shooting time. I can see the bed communicating on the delay time, which means that the cable is good. When delay time ends the bed just won't start. I feel that it has to be in the timer in the bed.

Does the bed start when you press the button (I'm assuming it does). Are these timers in the beds or T-Max 3As on the wall (I'm assuming they are timers in the tanning beds)? And it happens weather you start a session with the PC or T-Max Manager? What if you set time and start a session on the timer in the room without using the T-Max Manager? Does it still do the same thing?

Kevin, Thanks so much for your help and support on the tmax. I finally got to talk to someone at ETS that knew what they were talking about. The only problem was a parameter in the sundome address. No Bad wires and no bad Tmax. It is working fine now. Again I appreciate you help.

I'm getting acquinted with T-Max enough to know that param. How about this one - I finally have 8 of 9 beds working fine with the T-Max Manager Pro running manually, but when I connect to Helios, it sends time to the wrong bed (address minus 1) or I get the error sending time message.
Any advise? BartMan |

When setting up the beds in Helios there is a setting that sets the rooms numbers. These numbers can be different than the addresses set up on the timers. So a timer addressed to room 1 can be called room 4 in Helios. Contact Helios and they can streighten this our for you.
