What is the key for and is there any way to prevent the T-max from being disconnected from the software by the employee?

The Keylock is used to prevent manual operation. Placing the Key in the vertical position if the T-Max Manager is standing upright will disable the Start/Stop buttons on the T-Max Manager. This will keep your employees from starting session manually.
