Check the MAX BED setting on the Manager. If the new beds are higher #'s it won't see them.

You also need to check this value in Helios too

With 29 units in 2 locations, I would hope that is a given.

Mike, just to get a clear understanding of the post, help me understand what you are experiencing...

You added some new beds - I am unclear if there was an additional or replacement timer involved
You followed Andy's advise and added the beds in Helio in the Settings > Equipment option
You also went into Settings > Sales Code and set the Intelligence tab options on your Tan codes

Therefore...

When you attempt to send time to a new bed, you run a Tan code and the Bed Selection screen is presented - does the new bed(s) appear as being available on that screen?

If the bed appears available and you choose the bed and a tan time, then click OK or press Enter and complete the transaction, does Helios report an error when it attempts to issue the time to the T-Max manager?

If Helios presents an error, what is the error?

- or -

If Helios presents no error, does the T-Max Manager simply not indicate that it ever received a command to send time to the bed?

Can it be assumed that the funcionality of the existing beds has not been impacted?

Having some sort of tangible response when you send time to the bed would help narrow down where the bug lies in your particular situation. If Helios reports an error, then it could likely be the Equipment Settings but I am still a little unclear what exactly you are experiencing.

OK ... now that you have confirmed that pre-existing beds are working OK and that it is just beds you have recently added ....

Can you set these beds manually from the Tmax Manager?

Related to sun2go's question ... the Max bed # is not set or controlled within Helios ... this is a function soley of the Tmax Manager ... most certainly worth verifing.

Once you have verified that you can manually set the new beds from the Tmax Manager directly then if you wish to give me a call I would be pleased to help resolve this from within Helios.

"all original beds are working fine. I can send time to all the t-maxes, including the new one's from the t-max manager"

This means the T-Max Manager settings are OK. No max bed number needs be set as they can send timers to the new beds manually. This is a Helios setting problem at this point.

Kevin ... Mike reach me on the weekend.

The new unit is a CalTan spray unit. He says he can send 5 minutes to it from the Manager but not Helios.

When he initially called he did not have a location code in Helios for the TMax address. I had him enter A04 since it was room 4 and addressed as such. Reviewed the rest of the settings for the unit with Helios ... all seemed ok.

When he send the time from within Helios he gets a single beep but no time. Had him try it with and without a Start Delay time configured within Helios ... no difference.

I referred him back to Helios, CalTan and yourselves to determine the correct configuration for this new piece of equipment.

Hi Andy, I got good news! I solved the problem with room #4!
It was the max time setting in helios. everything now works fine!
Thanks for your help! It really did the trick.
Now I bought a new fingerprint reader because the old one gave up.
It is a UareU 4000. I have the UareU2000 but can't buy it anymore.
I was told that you have to buy one from helios for $300, because they code it
diffrently. Is this true? Thanks Again!

Regarding the Fingerprint ... yes Helios have a proprietary code that is required to work with Helios.
