Rep Power: 9 Adam Cooper will become famous soon enough
ok, here is the problem I am facing. Whenever I try to turn on the tmax manager and get it to read bed number 2, it will not do it. It just shows a -- or the tmax display. I have put several timers in this room, and I always make sure the address is set properly, but it just wont work correctly. At one time, it would work, but after a while the timer would just stop and display a number and continuously beep. I believe at one time it would display and 88, but it seems like it displayed a differant number this last time. Any ideas?

Adam,
Is bed #2 the last bed in the chain?
After connecting the timer, you will have to rescan the salon by re-powering the manager.
If you are having the same problem with several timers in the same room, it is either the communications cable or the power supply. Have you replaced the power supply?

Hmm, haven't tried the power supply yet, I guess I will try that today. No, this isnt the last bed in the chain. I will get back with you after I try the power supply.
thanks,
Adam Cooper

ok, I put a new power supply on the timer, here is the problem I get. After the timer sets idle for about 5 minutes or so, it will start buzzing and display a 98 I believe. It will keep doing this until I un-plug it. Any ideas?
thanks,
Adam Cooper

98 is not a valid error number. Could it be 91, 92, 93, 95 or 96?

The means the timer is in profit sharing mode. Give me a number to call and I'll call you.

I have talked to tech support a couple of times, but I still cant seem to get this problem resolved. Here is EXACTLY what is happening:
Plug in timer, shows 39 and then a 2 for the address. After a few seconds a 93 shows up on the timer and it will keep on buzzing until I unplug the timer. Anyone have any ideas on what to try?
thanks,
Adam Cooper
