How many did the helios upgrade to ver 9.4.0 ?

Firstly Nichole74, Helios 9.4 does work with Windows XP Professional and XP Home. I was onsite with a client in New Jersey over the last few days and we installed Helios 9.4 on a system with XP Professional and it installed with no problems at all.

With XP Home and sometimes also with Professional for some reason you need to set the Compatability Mode for the install and operation to work properly. HOWTO instructions can be found on the SolarSoft Website, in the Photo Gallery - Knowledge Base.

Nicole, while you are in the Solarsoft website, check out the information regarding Salon Net. Salon Net is the product from Solarsoft that allows you TODAY to have all the advantages of a WAN with Helios, WITHOUT the risks that are associated with a WAN.


The Version 10 that I saw and tested for Helios at the end of March, which they suggested would be released at the Vegas Show; DID NOT reflect to me any ability to either support a WAN or a Replication solution any more than the current V9 version of Helios.
