Chippp,
We have not had a problem with Helios 9.1 or 9.2 with XP Home or Pro. At Sandollar, we primarily use 9.2, and one location at 9.1, due to problems with freezing sales codes in 9.4. In fact most of our customers are not using 9.4 yet for similar reasons.

A word of caution, related to V10 and this topic.

At the end of March, when I was reviewing V10 for Tony. I observed that they are using IIS-Personal Web Server related to Web Based reports.

Now this function still had a lot of work to be done on it, BUT based on the assumption that V10 may include at least an option for Web Based Reporting to access your database for at least a single store from a remote location, be aware.....

If you are using Helios with either Windows XP Home or Windows ME - better talk to Helios WELL before you consider upgrading to V10.

I would also always suggest, do not be a pioneer. When V10 is released, give it time to settle down and be experienced by MANY users.

Remember V8 - well many of the changes are similar.
- new database engine
- new database structures
- new reporting engine
- etc.

Just one man's opinions.
