Rep Power: 24 Adam Cooper will become famous soon enough
On one of our 46 bed salons, the manager plus will not show beds 1-17. I can take away power, and when i reapply power, it loads up normally, except the lights for beds 1-17 dont show the yellow color like the other beds, they are just totally blank. Any ideas?Adam Cooper

well, it is currently working. One of the ladies here just pushed the phone-like cord into the manager, and it came up fine. After i inspected the cord, i noticed the little clip that holds it into the manager is broken off. How can i fix this? I cant replace the cord, because it is waaay to long and it is ran throught the walls and everything. I know that at home depot you can buy terminal blocks that have a phone line coming out of them. Could i plug this into the tmax, and cut the connector off the cord and apply those wires to the terminal? would this work?thanks,Adam Cooper

If you can't replace the cord, you will need to cut the connector off and re-crimp the a new one on it. Make sure that when you crimp the end on, you crimp it the exact same way as the current one is connected.Kevin BarrettADI Tech Support[This message has been edited by Kevin Barrett (edited 02-22-2001).]

For the crimper, call Techni-Tool @ 1-800-832-4866 and ask for part number 702ST019. You can also try Radio Shack. They used to carry a cheap plastic model. I recommend the one from Techni-Tool. That's the one that we use.You can get the RJ-22 connectors from Home Depot. Get the one that's called a Hand Set Connector.Kevin BarrettADI Tech Support

I have used the cheap plastic crimpers and they work ok, but you may have to put on a couple of ends before you end up with one that works. Good luck.
