battery backup

Getting ready to add six more units to our store. I want to connect my wall timers to a battery backup to help with the brown outs.Question:I will have six wall timers but the battery back up unit only has 4 back up receptacles.Can I plug timers into a surge outlet and plug the surge outlet into the battery backup and get the same results?????Thanks in advance

Sure, that will work.Each power supply will pull about 25 mA from the AC line. All 6 will pull, in total, around 150 mA. A single outlet will have no problem with this load.Dan Boone, ADI
