i have an 1a timer, that seems to work, but after the person has been tanning for several minutes, the bed will just turn off. I have checked the connections a few times, and all seems to be ok. would replacing the timer help? also, what is the differance between the 1a and 3a timer? it the 1a simply an older model?thanks,Adam Cooper

When the tanning bed turns off, what does the timer show on it's disply? What is the Period on the timer doing? The T-Max 3A is the newest timer. It replaced the T-Max 1A. It control the tanning bed the same way as the T-Max 1A.Kevin BarrettADI Tech Support

from what has been reported to me, the timer seemed to act normal. The customer said she looked at the wall when the bed turned off, and it still had five minutes left (she was in the bed for a 20 min. session) Would a new timer cure this problem?thanks,Adam Cooper[This message has been edited by Adam Cooper (edited 02-21-2001).]

This could be a problem with the timer or the tanning bed. Was the period on the timer flashing or on solid when the bed turned off? You can try a different timer. If the problem persists, it's with the tanning bed.Kevin BarrettADI Tech Support
