For Best Result Be Who You Are

In working with so many salon owners I find a common problem with many of those salons.

There are many opinions as to how many levels a tanning salon should have if it is a full service salon. I believe a salon is best served with 3 levels or 4 if you expand level 3 with spray tanning .

Many salons have 4 or 5 levels. Here is where the consistent mistake occurs, many salon owners really have only 2 true levels of tanning and yet they market as a 3, 4 or even 5 level salon. The problem with this is there is no real separation between levels and some times leaving only 1 bed to make up an entire level.

Don't be afraid of being a 2 level salon if that is what you truly are. It is also important to have multiple systems on a level so you can tan more than 1 person at a time. Pricing must match equipment. This is part of properly structuring a salon.

This will also increase sales because you will play to the strength of your salon instead of trying to be something you are not. I can't tell you how many times by reducing levels changing equipment placement and revising pricing accordingly salons substantially increase sales.
