Question Square for credit cards?

I have Helios software and I have been using their credit card processing and merchant company that they recommend. My rates seem very high. Much higher and more complicated than the Square. Does anyone use the Square for credit card payments? How would I integrate it with Helios? Any suggestions on getting those credit card fees down would be extremely helpful.
Thanks

Re: Square for credit cards?

I'm no expert on Square, but If I'm not mistaken it won't work with that kind of software. Square is designed for Square. To use with their own equipment / app / software. Kind of like PayPal. Other places can accept PayPal payments, but you are still going through their backend to cash out.

If anything you might want to contact Helios and see if they have support for it.

Square is high on their rates. Costco has some of the lowest rates around.

If you have a smart phone or tablet, you can use square. You do have to purchase the swiper, but when you download the app, they put the $ back into your account. Flat 2.75% fee on each transaction. Take cc payments anywhere.

You would not be able to use Square with EFT.
