Red face Need advice regarding C.C processsing

I am considering switching to WORLD PAY which they are the only merchant processing company that can be integrated with Salon touch (which I use).
Currently I use W.F Bank as my cc processor with a regular cc machine.

Does anyone have any experience with World Pay credit card processing ?

They are one of the smaller processors out there. What are you trying to accomplish? How many stores do you have?

Re: Need advice regarding C.C processsing

I have three locations. The rate that I have with W.F.B is good (1.69%) but I like the fact that their merchant services are integrated with salon touch. That will help me with processing my EFT's which currently I have to do it manually or use a separate software for (like PC Charge for re-curing charges).
I wish I had more options as far as processing my EFT's directly from Salon touch without using a separate software.

If its integrated properly its worth switching over!
BUT find how if its tokenized and who owns the tokens and how much
to transfer them to a new provider if you want to switch!

Thanks for your help Tony !

What do you mean by tokenized or tokens ?

I am bit nervous as well since they want to sign me for 3 years commitment.

Dont agree to a 3 year commitment. If you insist they will relent.

If you are doing EFT's you want to make sure you have no credit card numbers on your computer
and that you send a token to process a credit card on file. You need to OWN those tokens and have
it in writing you can take them with you to your next provider for free!

On a side note, do you like Salon Touch?

I do like salon touch (maybe because I am used to it as well) but I was looking into Sunlync as a possibility for a change. What do you use or recommend ?

Re: Need advice regarding C.C processsing

Does anyone have any experience with World pay (RBS) though Salon touch ? Any technical issues, downtime or anything I should be aware of before I switch to them ?

(Again, the main reason that I am considering to switch is that they are the only credit card processing that is fully integrated with salon touch)
