Good PTA

What is a good PTA for a sales person to keep? I ahve my sales people try to be at a 6 to 7 overall PTA.

Re: Good PTA

Does that include EFTs? Or just in salon sales? I think that is good if it doesn't include EFTs.

Re: Good PTA

DIN says 18 or 19 as a yearly average.

Re: Good PTA

My girls are at $40.97 PTA and $25.66 PPA both YTD I have had a **** of a year though. I think DIN's numbers are more realistic for most salons

Re: Good PTA

What are you counting as PTA and PPA? To me PTA is per tan average. And PPA is per person average, includes everyone who tans and doesn't tan. Customers who tan and also those who buy gift cars or just lotion or a purse or something. So PPA should be higher than PTA.

To me a $7 PTA is if you tan 100 customers in a day and your revenue for the day is $700 : $700/100 tanners. IMO $6 to $9 is fair to good. $10 to $15 is good to great. Over $15 is outstanding.

But more important is your annual Per Person Average. This should be what your pricing and sales strategy is built around. IMO you should be over $100 per person. Preferably $150 or above.

Re: Good PTA

PTA Per Transaction AVG. PPA Per Person Average
