Rep Power: 21 | Motivate Your Sales Staff It can be a good idea to have contest to motivate your sales staff. Here is a good contest. Start a monthly bonus contest based on total points earned divided by number of hours worked. That makes it fair for everyone. Level 3 EFT 5 points Level 2 EFT 4 points Level 1 EFT 3 points Bottle of lotion 4 points Most points earned in each salon wins $50 to $100 cash, based on size of salon. when you have multiple salons, Manager that salon accumulates the most points gets a $100 bonus. 100 points divided by 12 hours worked is 8.33 point average per hour. The highest average wins You can throw in points for level 3 one month packages if you like. Have a graph on the wall somewhere that you up date daily or weekly so staff can see progress. You can create a contest of this type around any product or package that you want to encourage sale of. Short term contest like 30 days keeps motivation high. Introduce it and get staff pumped at your monthly sales meeting. |
