Man, this reminds me of the old video rental days when I used to chase people around because they had overdue movies still out. Never want to go back to that again. Hated it. A good reason not to depend on EFT. You end up being nothing more than a glorified bill collector. Rather dig ditches.

Surround me huh? I think I'll do a survey; how many zoom salons will it take in GA to put peach out of business? Sounds like cowboys and Indians! Cool.

Read Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" That will give you a really good idea
of how the "party" will be waged!

I would much rather you be here than PBT-they actually have some pretty good equipment in their stores.

Hey Tony,
How do you handle the customer after all attempts where made and the account was terminated and they return? Is there a balance still on their account? Are they eligible to sign up for EFT again? Also what software do you use and is your text integrated-in advance thank you!

On a side note...how I handle my EFT's (1 salon) I mail a letter, or send a message on FB these typically take care of it. If not I take it case by case. For the ones that have burned me 2x they get are no longer eligible to purchase EFT's and enjoy the savings as they have abused it and their account is noted. So far this works..

After their card is returned as "dead" we stop drafting them immediately. If we dont get a "dead" code returned AND their card is declined for 2 consecutive months we stop drafting them. In both cases balances are removed so that when they return we dont chase them away with a balance. In both cases the client receives a text and a week later a phone call to bring in their new card. If they fail to do so we then cancel their membership and their balance. Their membership costs go up to rejoin after they fail to cancel their membership.

We use Hyperion and yes texting is completely integrated into our draft. The phone calls are report driven but they can just click on the number to call!
