Head Fans

I tried searching and didn't turn up anything. I'm having a hard time finding a good table fan that would be near the head for the customer to cool themselves off. Over the last couple years, I've always found the 9inch fans too weak.
Like this one http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/ho...l#.UrzM-_RDvp8

This is the 18inch one I found. Which works nice but gets dusty very quickly and is impossible to clean. You cannot remove the cover to clean the blades. So far right now I take a hand-vac to vacuum it which doesn't really work. I also use an air compressor to force out the dust but doesn't do it 100%. I'm also finding that the chrome finish at the top of the fan is wearing off.

It is more effective having a fan at the foot of the bed rather than blowing air at the top of a tanners head. Heartland has a powerful fan mounted on a stand that sits at the foot of the 3400 or i guess you could sit it at the head if you like. It is a very powerful fan.

Re: Head Fans

Hey thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the rooms are so small that we only have the option of having a fan at the tanners head. We also have a fan by their feet but we like giving the option of a second fan. As you may be able to see from the picture, we only have a small bench to put the fan on, the standing fans would be too large for us.

I'm wondering if there's any ( around 18in fans ) that are decently powerful and that come a part with screws for easy cleaning. The fans we've had over the last couple years did not come apart, they got dusty super quick and couldn't be cleaned.

Re: Head Fans

The fans that Steve is referring to are mounted to a thin metal plate that fits under the end of the bed and then is connected to the fan with a pole that is about an inch in diameter. The fan height is adjustable so that the fan can then come an inch or two into the bed. The pole would be flush with the end of the bed. Thats less space that what you say you are currently using.

Hi! Thanks for your reply. This sounds good :)
Could you post a link to a Google images picture of this fan or a website selling it? I can't seem to find it on Google

Re: Head Fans

The picture that you posted looks like its an Ergo Passion or flair bed, correct?

Why would you need any additional fans for that bed? We have the Passion and the fans in the bed work good enough
