I am new to this so I am looking for some insight. We have Salon Touch and use Worldpay for direct EFTs. Second time now and after the EFT process comes a half dozen bad transaction charges. WP sends a little post card for each one, but there is no information on who the customer was that got declined. So how do you find who's account it is? We want to stop the same bad charge from happening again or just be able to call the customer for updated CC info.

The account number is listed on the letter from wp.

I used them also and it is annoying but thats the only way to locate the client
Go thru your eft list and locate the account number

I thought it was supposed to interact with the software; so wouldn't the clients package be inactive automatically?

There's a feature they use called MultiPay. It is a big hassle, but out of all our memberships, I believe they do this for only one of our customer, and I'm not sure why.

What they do is approve the transaction at the point of sale, and then attempt to collect the money. It shows that it's been approved, but can still fail and that is when they send a letter. Real hassle in my opinion.

I looked at the Worlpay Debit notices and here are unique consecutive numbers for each debit. However there is no corresponding number to be found in Salon Touch anywhere. I will calling tomorrow for clarification.

Can you use world pay just for eft's or do you have to use world pay for all or nothing?
Also, Do you feel like your getting good rates?

No one beats Worldpay's rates, no one; I have looked as many on here have and we concluded that WP has the best rates. Search for the thread, it will open your eyes to Merchant processing costs.

I would like to hear an update on this issue if possible.

the cost plus rate with 10 bases points and 5 cents per transaction. Also there is a monthly fee of $9.95.

I thought I would upadate this with the fix. There was a database issue with salon touch that was causing EFTs to be run on deleted customers. ST support had to go into the DB and fix it.
