Rep Power: 21 | Now Is The Time If your salon is not generating the income you expected or even showing a decline in business over the last few years, hopefully you have decided to do something about it. It is my experience that while there are typically a great many little things that should be done regarding the visual and general structure of a salon that will improve the tanning experience, the main issue with most salons is price structure and marketing. The industry has changed and how consumers spend their disposable income has changed. How consumers are reached has changed and the content of your communication must change. A price structure based on your market and equipment mix must be designed to maximize income potential and get the most out of each and every piece of equipment. You must completely let go of old beliefs and be open to change. Now is the time because, kids have gone back to school and this marks a seasonal change in a tanners potential routine. The holidays present great opportunities to encourage tanning sales and more importantly, what you do over the next few months will not only increase sales for the 2013 but will determine the potential success of the 2014 season. |
