Rep Power: 0 | Pregnant and difficulty cleanning beds. I am a salon owner and entering my 3rd trimester of pregnancy. As time goes on it is getting harder and harder on me to clean the tanning beds. I would like to ask my clients to help out but also warn them that they haven't been cleaned by me. I am the only one who works at my salon with a helper a couple of times a week for a few hours. I can't afford to hire help in the summer. My clients know I am pregnant and most of my regulars and I have discussed this happening as I get further along and they are fine with it. Thank heavens for small towns!!! My question is I want to place a laminated sign on the beds stating that I haven't cleaned it. Extra towels are available and to please help out. What is the best way to word this? I also plan on discounting my packages during this time to show my appreciation for there help. Thanks!!! |

Personally i dont think you should have clients do this for you. I am less than 9 weeks out and had to go on maternity leave since I was unable to do 50% of my job (doing lash extensions). It was best for my business. I hired and trained staff to take over for me so that my clients get the best experience, since that is what they are paying for. ;) |

Either that or look at closing the business. If the business can't afford employee's...it has failed. Time to move on and focus on your family and your new baby. |
