Pregnant and difficulty cleanning beds.

I am a salon owner and entering my 3rd trimester of pregnancy. As time goes on it is getting harder and harder on me to clean the tanning beds. I would like to ask my clients to help out but also warn them that they haven't been cleaned by me. I am the only one who works at my salon with a helper a couple of times a week for a few hours. I can't afford to hire help in the summer. My clients know I am pregnant and most of my regulars and I have discussed this happening as I get further along and they are fine with it. Thank heavens for small towns!!! My question is I want to place a laminated sign on the beds stating that I haven't cleaned it. Extra towels are available and to please help out. What is the best way to word this? I also plan on discounting my packages during this time to show my appreciation for there help.
Thanks!!!

Re: Pregnant and difficulty cleanning beds.

Get a Swiffer & just attached a clean towel to it each time. Spray the bed down & just use the swiffer. Works good with the swivel head.

Re: Pregnant and difficulty cleanning beds.

^^^ good suggestion.

You can also just tell them when they check in. Have them clean it before they get in the bed. Personally i dont think you should have clients do this for you. I am less than 9 weeks out and had to go on maternity leave since I was unable to do 50% of my job (doing lash extensions). It was best for my business. I hired and trained staff to take over for me so that my clients get the best experience, since that is what they are paying for. ;)

Re: Pregnant and difficulty cleanning beds.

Your family is far more important than your business. Having said that, you need to hire a bed cleaner. Either that or look at closing the business.

If the business can't afford employee's...it has failed. Time to move on and focus on your family and your new baby.
