Re: Software for a smaller salon - with spa services

I just switched to TanTrack from Helios...things I like and hate about each one....But the main difference is that I paid for TanTrack and it's mine, Helios is $1000/year and you don't own the software.

Re: Software for a smaller salon - with spa services

I still use my suntouch from when I had the tanning salon. Works fine. I will be upgrading to salontouch so I can access the software off site. One fee for suntouch and you are done.

I use schedulicity for scheduling. LOVE IT!

I would never use a laptop..too easy for employees to take home for the night and hack into. ;) I bought very inexpensive desktops for my salons. I didnt need anything fancy since it will only be used for the salon software and one website.

Re: Software for a smaller salon - with spa services

SunSally, I apologize for my lateness into this conversation.
SunLync is definitely the Cadillac of salon software but don't consider it overkill. Look at it as having all the tools you need to expand, without the cost of changing over later.
We DO offer spa services, we have just come out with new management reports, there are a few more things in the latest release we will reveal next week in Vegas. We actually have quite a few single salons that use our software. I'd suggest a demo just to try it out and see what it can do for you.

I totally agree! I just opened in June and I love tantrack.. I also went with the merchant processor they recommended and they gave me free tech support for a year!

very easy to use

I hear great things about Hyperion...not sure if it works for Spa services though.
