Today is Labor Day and we are open. In fact, we are open every holiday (including Christmas), except New Years Day because hangovers and tanning do not mix! LOL

I passed two tanning salons this morning on my way to work, and neither one was open.

I'm wondering, who else is working today????

We're open holidays as well. It's easier because we sell weekly's. We get tons of calls asking if we're open and if we weren't a lot of people ask for an extra day......about 5 times the amount of people who actually show up to tan.
We also have a lot of lotion specials which helps clear inventory.

Closed today. Usually a very dead day for us.

I thought it was going to be dead too! But as it turned out, once people got up and moving around, they decided to tan! LOL

It's a good thing we stayed open because almost all of the tanners who came in were monthlys and I would have felt terrible if they would have been disappointed. We didn't make any money (well, not much, anyway), but what we built in PR makes up for it. We even had a regular tanner come in at 8:40 pm (we close at 9) for a tan.

Our customers know we will be there for them!

I was open on Saturday, but closed Monday. I sell minutes & month unlimted. It doesn't pay for me to be open on the actual holiday in the south especially in the Summer. Everybody goes to the beach or the lake. I get my few regulars that will come by.
