Re: Clepto customer

If I were required to provide free eyewear, I would stick a pair of winkease to the bed and sell eyewear...it is unsanitary, totally unbelievable that a State would require a business to provide anything for free when they are paying for it, and down right unprofessional. I would maybe price my packages to include the use of winkease if I had to, but I WOULD NOT include eyewear that had to be sanitized, I would provide disposable....providing eyewear to me is like providing spa panties then washing them and letting someone else use them...TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

FYI...that "big, fat smile on their face" is from knowing they just saved a couple of bucks and doesn't have anything to do with your great customer service.
LOL
Can you imagine someone smiling to find out that they get to use someone elses eyewear? Most of my clients would CRINGE!!!!
Why in the world would anyone with any common sense want to use someone else's eyewear? I have a few every now and then that want to know if we provide eyewear...I then get to let them in on the truth of free eyewear and how anyone that provides it has not a clue as to the dangers of doing so. I then sell them their own eyewear, tell them how to take care of that eyewear and to never use the so called community eyewear again! Now to me, THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!

By the way, we give away a LOT of free tans. Sometimes regular customers will come in who have packages and I won't take off a tan, sometimes even on my highest level bed! And boy, do they love that! LOL And our lotion prices are the cheapest in town! $20 for White to Black, $40 for Trust Fund Baby, $10 for Cheeky Brown. AND BOY DO THEY LOVE THAT!

It's all about MAKING THE CUSTOMER HAPPY. That should be everyone's number one priority. Love what you do, and the money will follow.

The provision of service is just that, providing the service to the customer. Providing product is not customer service. Goggles which is a product is a tangeble item, customer service is not a product or a tangeble item. Products cost money, customer service does not. Let's not get the two confused.

This argument is as old as this industry. The need to provide eyewear is just that, provide or make available. It has nothing to do with providing it at no cost. ( unless it specifically reads that as it does in OH)
