Employee theft is a big problem here (that's why I guess Im working more than ever) Switching to new helios 12. Found alot of Void sales with my old system. Employees where just pocketing the cash.

I never really believed that my employees would steal. I found them taking lotion out of the bottles and putting it a cup for themselves. They would also give those cups of lotions to customers if they didn't have lotion! I found out because I went to sell the bottle and it was more than half empty! I have cameras I couldn't understand why the cameras were moved off and in some cases broken. They didn't want me to see them steal the packets!

having a camera and microphone on the desk that can be monitored real time helps prevent theft and allows you to evaluate employee performance.

Cameras have saved a lot! Also, assume the the "free tan for friends" is really a cash theft. Usually they take the cash and ten them on an employee account or under the account of an inactive member / tanner with tans on their accounts.

We bought a simple 2 camera surveillance system, installed it, while allowing the employees to see themselves being video taped on the monitor, and 2 of them quit within a week. That told me all that I needed to know....
