Rep Power: 0 | Client With Shedding Skin Condition Hello! I have a strange issue with an older gentlemen client that has a terrible skin shedding problem everytime he tans in my standup. When the cleaners go in to clean the standup, there is a massive pile of skin all over the bottom of the standup. It is literally a dustpan full! I do not want to continue letting this man tan at my salon because it seems to be very unsanitary, and the amount of skin makes me think he is exfoliating or has a serious skin condition! I have searched for answers regarding this on here, and would love to see your suggestions or if you have experienced a similar issue. Thanks in advance for your help! |

His whole family tans with us, and I dont want to offend the poor sheddin' fellow, but this cant go on! Would you just say, "sorry but you skin loss leads me to believe you have a skin condition and I am worried about you tanning here?" Can I get sued for that? I mean I know it's going to be awkward either way, and we will probably lose the family as a result, but I am prepared for that, I just was hoping someone out there in tantalkland has has a similar issue or might want to throw their 2 cents in the bucket.. thanks! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Client With Shedding Skin Condition Well, I was thinking of asking him to provide a doctors note before I renew him, but my standup shouldnt be his place to exfoliate, we are talking MASSIVE amounts of skin here, my employees are mortified and the skin gets all over the place due to the fans.. I dont want him to tan anymore, waaay to gross and waaay too much of a hassle, so I guess my question is, has anyone ever had any repercussiuons from refusing service? I know its easier when you have a bad client, but this guy is nice, I just feel like he is taking advantage of us by shedding when he tans, I mean you would have to be scrubbing that skin off for 12 mins, to get a whole dustpan full.. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Client With Shedding Skin Condition You sound very mean! You should be in business to HELP people look and feel good... He is giving YOU money! Why would you be so rude? So your employees need to clean up after him.... So what? its in the job! Just be happy he isnt peeing or pooping in your garbage cans or stealing from you. Or the lady I had one time.... she left me a very big blood mess.... She even drew a picture with it on my acrylic... some skin I can handle body fluids done out of nastyness .. not so much! |
