Would be nice if once in awhile all you "EXPERTS" would help out the new posters/owners instead of just bashing their spelling and sentence structure

If you are going to sell minutes on a single bed then you might as well just leave it in the garage. Just sell single sessions of 8 or 10 bucks walk in and sell session packages to get the cost down to 5 or 6 a session. No minutes. I suggested staying away from ulimiteds, go with minutes as well as a "PAY AS YOU GO" membership / $20 down / with per visit charge of $3.

How are we suppose to know what she should price it at. I have no clue if she has comp? All i can say is dont do minutes and make sure you add that puppy to your insurance so you are covered. I know hair/nail often skips that step.

$8 - $10 single session walk in BFE hicksville of 6000 people w/ a 24 lamp bed........seriously???

If she has no comp she might be able to get it.
I say $5-6
but one bed generally doens't make much money. its more of a PIA than its worth.

Pretty much what i told here, but could make enough to fill gas tank each month. $5. single / 10 - $30 call iit good.

Thanks for all the advice ! And yeah I'm from the south and proud of it!
I also had no problem finding my way back here as I have my own forum JA! And no , it's not tanning.
The only comp I have is a bed more ancient than mine and she has minutes packages only. 50, 100, 150,200,etc. Her lamps are old as well. Mine, even though they are wolff and brand new. I didn't get the UVB as my husband can't use it. He uses the UVA for his back and yes I've had training. I've had my bed 4 years, its just not my primary income. It brings me more nail clients.
I do have insurance and have had since I bought this bed. I have a T-Max as well . The next closest place to tan is 20 and 30 miles away and that's why the tanning bed is popular here in BFE. BTW, I was also in BFE in the DEEP south as well.

Thanks for all the posts that I can use and wader, appreciate all your input this morning. Nice to know everyone isn't a J/A...lol. Glad you're not one of the east coast junkies :)

I RECKON thats about all they know how to do up there. Eveyone I've met on the east coast is a J/A ! LOL, just glad I don't have to hear their voice with that accent!
