Dr note is for my proptection..people sue for anything and everything

Rep Power: 16 | Re: pregnant tanning I have a good article in my lobby from tanning trends (long time ago). It is safe for a pregnant person to tan. They just need to be cautious of their body temperature. I believe anything above 102 degrees is harmful to the baby. I've had pregnant clients, one of them tanned all the way through all 3 pregnancies. I recommended she tan in the early morning or late evening so the equipment would be more forgiving. I, like others do not require doctors notes or have any clauses in our waiver. Like CTM said, people are sue happy- so maybe I should modify things. I always tell them it is best to speak with their doctor to be sure they are having a normal pregnancy. Then I go on to tell them the above information and show them the article in the lobby. I'll try to find the article-but it's real old.
