Re: Incentive Contest?? Any suggestions??? One thing I learned in my last corporate job, incentive's work for a while and than lose their effectiveness. I watched sales reps get excited and work for a $5 prize, than as that lost momentum they brought in larger money prizes. In the end we were giving trips and large screen TV's. What I learned is that the same people always won, those that were competitive and worked hard regardless to achieve their goals.
Recognition is the biggest motivator by far, though if surveyed people will say money. I just focused on making sure my team had the information about our products and taught how to give the best recommendation. |
