Does noone see the Market here? Helios and friends are retarded...

I am very curious, and welcome Helios, SalonTouch, whomever to counter me on this.

There are over 2000 Salons in Canada, yes, definately not as many as the states, however, has anyone noticed the American Economy is tanked, and every salon owner on this site likes to joke about how they are broke.

Canada however remains quite strong as an economy, we have stuff all over the ground thats worth money, oil, trees, farmland, potash, uranium, etc. We DO have some salons here, yet...

Is integrated EFT available here?

Is Helios Smartmail available here?

In a recent call with my rednecked friends at Helios, they were told to tell me that the reason EFT wasnt available here, was something to do with the sales tax. HAha... That was Heather Hall. She also said something about being unable to offer us the new remote access either. But had no idea why, something to do with our taxes again probably. In fact, when I called to say "okay, so your Helios 12, which was unveiled a week ago at the ITA show, isnt even advertised on your website in full detail, what would you say is the BEST new feature of Helios. She said the fact that we have 26 bed types and unlimited accumulators.

3 years in the making, and we got some new boxes... for those of us with 26 bed types and the most complicated pricing points system the industry has ever seen, (which leaves our customers and staff oh so confused... how oh how is that possible)

How many more services are unavailable to us here, buck-a-minute tech support long distance lines, not to mention dealing with people who sound like theys tryin tu tell us that that there cloud ove' yonda sure is fixin' t'come a good'n! Take the chew out of your mouths, look at us Canadians paying full price, let yourself think about % increase in profits and do something, before someone smart does it first.

Or explain to me why 2000 tanning salons dont represent at least a spec of possible income. Down in the states, the software companies are offering all sorts of new boxes and upgrades, and spending tons of money at trade shows to try and win market share back and forth. But they cant call Canada Post and co-ordinate the shipment of some postcards to capture more business in a market where theres ZERO competition because the rest of the software companies arent paying attention to Canada.

Can someone help my dumb, igloo livin, oil smothered Canadian fur trading *** figure this out?

Now I gotta go pay my mortgage.... talk later.

Yea,I think I can explain....your canadian and canada gets no respect from the U.S.Too many frenchies over there.LOL

Bottom line is the software companies are not based in Canada.

You brought up a good point, but you also answered your own question.

If there are 2000 salons that could benefit from what you are proposing, maybe someone should create a software program in canada that would benefit canadian salon owners.Could be money in it for someone?

Re: Does noone see the Market here? Helios and friends are retarded...

At least she blamed your issues on taxes. I am in the US and every time I USED to call and pay my monthly fee, I was told "Not supported." then disconnected.
No reason - Just not supported.
Cancelled my technical support. Why pay for the answer when it doesn't change.
I also offered to give them a list of the many, many errors in Helios and the manager didn't feel the need to call me back. I even explained that I was the business manager for a Global Operations team supporting/designing/implementing CRM tools (aka Helios in the tanning industry). took her months - YES - months to call back and say, she wasn't interested.
