Rep Power: 0 | Customer Stealing... I noticed a bottle of Black missing off our shelf the other day and I knew for sure we hadnt sold it. Luckily we have a video surveillance system and we went through the recordings and found the culprit. We are going to call the girl and give her the chance to pay for the lotion, if not we will press charges by the end of the day. Has this happend to anybody? I've never pressed charges on anyboday before. She is also no longer welcome at our salon but she still has half a package that she hasnt used yet, do I have to pay her back for the unused portion of her package??? I dont feel I should, she stole from us and we no longer want her tanning here, we dont think we should owe her anything. |

I do have a video survalience system but will only use it in case of felony crimes. In attempt to rid theft we have posted a sign stating "please don't stel from us. we are a family owneds and operated business. if you need a product that bad, we will give it too you!" we have got a great response from our customers and we have curtailed theft greatly! This is just our approach. |

No body could figure out where it went till one day this girl came into tan and when she left I went back to clean the bed and what did I find?? The EMPTY bottle of tanning lotion that was stolen off the shelf. And I knew it was ours cause she left the sticker on it that we have on all our bottles. I know for a FACT that she did not buy it cause the girl was a major crackhead and did everything she could to get stuff for free. Thankfully that day she tanned was her last tanning session and she has not been back. People are idiots.

Rep Power: 18 | Re: Customer Stealing... Option #1...Pay for the lotion, in cash, and never step foot in the salon again. Consider any outstanding tanning packages used up. Option #2...I place charges for shoplifting and you get to explain your actions to a judge, your family, and your friends. Since I'll get my money either way, you better thank me for even giving you an option. |
