Rep Power: 0 | Comission On Lotions???? I was thinking of doing a commission on each bottle of lotion to get the employee's motivated to sell lotions. I have read some of the suggestions on contests, or similar things, but I already have the competition/rivalry thing going on with the employee's as it is. Complaining about each other, etc. So I thought that it would be better to do the commission on the bottles that way they get rewarded for what they do. I'm not sure what $ amount to do. I was going to do a percentage, instead of a $ amount to accommodate from the less expensive to the most expensive. Has anyone done this? If so what percentage did you do, and did it change with the price of the lotion? Thanks, Sandy |

I've been doing the Bingo board to accommodate lotions, teeth whiteners, toe rings, flipflops, sunglasses, etc.....They have done really well on it and helped get them excited about a potential bingo and and extra $25 at the end of the month. No one has actually made a bingo, but their boards were really full - Just can't have all the better products all in the same row.....have to throw a tingler or nail savers or something in there. I change the board every month. Sold a truck load of lotion in the past two months cause employees will do just about anything for extra cash! |

Plus we having been selling a lot more lotion and other items we didn't sell too often. However I think I am going to start commission soon and motivate them a little more. You can never have too much in lotion and upgrade sales!!! |

I only let the employees tan for thirty minutes a week, they also get ten percent on all tanning products they sell(not tanning sessions or packages) and at the first day of the month I figure out who has the highest amount of sales and I give them a month unlimited tanning. It is a great and simple solution for compeition for us. It should not get too personal then, all about the money.

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Comission On Lotions???? Anything? Even tanning? I did commision on tanning last year and I was paying out commission for things that people already planned on buying. The checks where huge. So now I do product and eft, both require more skills to sell than to renew your tanning package. |
